*T&C's Cabarets are group bookings for a minimum of 12 people per event.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
-Intentional spaces: Ivy Bar & Cabaret creates intentional spaces that centre and prioritise the queer community.
- Safe space: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or prejudice of any kind especially, Homo/Bi/Transphobia, sexism, or racism. We will not tolerate any sexual harassment or violence.
-Accessibility: Gender-neutral toilets and adequate seating. We do have wheelchair access an escort is required to access so get in touch with the bar staff and we can make sure we are there for you.
- An approachable/supportive team: If you are having an uncomfortable time at any point our staff are there to support you, let us know what’s going on and we will do everything we can to get you back to having a fun time.
-Learning and implementing positive change: We believe that we all have room to grow and work on breaking unhealthy habits, so please be kind and patient on our collective journey.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

-Stay hydrated. Ivy Bar & Cabaret encourages you to drink water before, in between and after consuming alcohol, it will make the night better for you and help with the hangover tomorrow.
- Respectful behaviour: Towards other customers and staff, be kind to others, it’s not that hard really.
-Always ask for consent: consent is sexy, key and MANDATORY.
-Ask, don't assume: Please don't assume someone’s sexuality or gender, please get in the habit of asking peoples pronouns.
-Check yourself: Take up space, but not at the expense of someone else. think about why you are there. Know your privilege.
-No SWERFs. No TERFs. No racists: We work to create a safe space for all who enter the venue, especially our marginalised whanau.
FAQ'S
What times are the cabarets?
Our Private cabarets useally run from 6 pm. But we are happy to have a chat and be flexible where we can.
My group is smaller than the 12 minimum can we still book?
We require payment for a minimum of 12 people, we can host small groups you will just have to pay for 12.
We have a venue for our event can you come to us?
Yes we can, we will have a chat with you and your venue to work whatg we can do for you? Prices for these change depended on what is needed, flick us a message and lets chat.
How long do the Cabarets go for?
Our cabarets run for approx 2 hours
What's the max amount of people we can have?
We can accomidate up to 80 people at the higher numbers it is a mix of seated and standing.
We are wanting more food than just the anitpasto platters what our options?
You are able to arrange you own catering for your group if you are wanting more food options. We will work with you and your caterer to maks this easy.
Where are the cabarets held?
Our private cabarets are hosted at our wonderful venue Ivy Bar at 63 Cuba Street
Can people under 18 come to a cabaret?
Sorry no, Ivy Bar is an R18 venue. If you are having an event at you own venue this will depend on that venues rules.
